About

What is the Eli Effect?

At The Eli Effect, we know what parents are up against when raising a child with a physical handicap. All you want is for your child to be included, embraced, and connected in their community.

But the plain truth is – you’ve joined a club you never wanted to be in. And now you must learn to navigate a world that wasn’t built for children with physical disabilities. Just tracking down and paying for accessories like wheelchairs, ramps, and lifts is overwhelming enough. But then having to fight for new ways for your child to connect at school, sports, and friendships leaves most parents completely exhausted.

Bottom line – it shouldn’t be this hard for a kid to be a kid.

Hi, I’m Nichole

As the founder of the Eli Effect, I know the weight you carry as a parent. My son, Eli, was born with spinal muscular atrophy, and together we had to overcome obstacle after obstacle. It felt like we were climbing Mount Everest over and over.

What Eli Taught Us

But if there is one thing I learned from Eli, it was to never give up, and always find ways to spark joy and connection in any way we could.

And that’s what I’m here to do for you.

Fighting for Families

My experience as an RN, BSN and “Parent Mentor” for our local school district has allowed me to advocate for families facing similar challenges. I’ve helped hundreds of families fight for a better life for their child, and now the Eli Effect is here to help you do the same!

Here's How It Works:

1. Fill out our online form to help us better understand you and your child’s needs.

2. We’ll do everything we can to help you get the equipment, experiences, and mindsets you need to win.

3. As we partner together, we’re confident you’ll feel the excitement as you watch your child break through barriers and seize new opportunities in your community!

Imagine the beaming smile on your child’s face when they are able to participate in experiences like other kids. How would it feel to know you have a team of advocates fighting for you and your child every step of the way?

You don’t have to go on this journey alone.

Let’s take our cue from Eli...

Spark new life in your child and community, together.
